It was during his imprisonment that he recalled a
statement he had once heard, "Set your sights high".
In actual fact this was a marvellous piece of advice.
He and his dad had been stuck much too long in
this terrible place. They were cramped by claustrophobia
& frustration made them decide to make their escape.
So, with access only to basic materials, they ingeniously
created wings & took to the air.
Unfortunately, Icarus flew to close to the
sun & fell from the heights.
The moral of the story, I suppose, is that you should
aim high but that you should operate within random reason
& avoid excesses.
