With so much acid-rain these days its hard work being
a knight. I spend a lot of time using elbow grease
having to scour off rust with steel wool & applying
metal polish in order to keep my armour shining.

On top of it there's no end to the animal rights
groups & wild life societies, breathing on me with
hot breath, ready to remind me at the slightest
tilt of my lance, that dragons are on the endangered
species list. I tell them I'm just culling as well
as preventing forest fires & do what I have to do.

When they see me on horse, damsels in distress look
up at me in admiration. They think I'm absolutely
charming & too marvellous for words. Unfortunately,
I'm a rather shortish guy. Seeing me with my breeches
undone, there've been virgins who've coyly remarked,
"You're really quite small, aren't you?" I think it's
rather nasty of them.
