There are those who say I do not exist & that I am, in actual
fact, a figment of the imagination. Of course one can not argue with that kind of reasoning.
But there are others who don't quite agree or disagree with
that opinion. There are those who half-jokingly say that when
you walk alone on a dark night what you should do in order
to see a ghost is look over your left shoulder behind you.
Why the left shoulder, they are never able to explain. But definitely
not over the right shoulder.
There are many who, especially when they know nobody is watching,
tempting fate, quickly do what has been suggested. They
don't say so, but how relieved they are when they find nothing
"Ghosts, spectres, phantoms," they scoff, "it's a lot of nonsense."
But how can one be so concerned about nothing? Don't they realize
that that gives the seemingly non-existent a presence? If
I cease to be only some vagrant thought I can do things, all
manner of things. Having a sense of humour, I am not a
malevolent spirit
If anybody watches my fan long enough they will see it move
ever so slightly. Just watch it closely if you are not a sceptic.
Be still. Watch.
